Provided always, That no fuch Suffragans, which (hall be made and confecratc by Virtue. and Au- thority of this Act, fhall take or perceive any manner of Profits of the Places and Sees whereof they fhall be named, nor ufe,.have or execute any Jurildiction or Epifcopal Power or Authority within their faid Sees, nor within any Dioccle or Place of this Realm, or clfc where within the King's Dominions, but only fuch Profits, Jurifdiction, Power and Authority, as fhall be licenced and limited to them to take, do and exe- cute by any Archbifliop or Bifliop of this Realm, within their Diocefc to whom they fhall be Suffragans, by their Commiffion under their Seals ; (2) and that every Archbifhop and Bifhop of this Realm, for their what Awhontj own peculiar Diocefc, may and fhall give fuch Commillion or Commiflions to every fuch Bifhop Suffragan and Ben as fhall be fo confecratc by Authority of this Act, as hath been accullomed for Suffragans heretofore to ( "P*s rtuil have, or clfe fuch Commiffion as by them fhall be thought requifite, reafonablc and convenient; (3) and D avc '" cir that no fuch Suffragan fhall ufe any Jurifdiction Ordinary or Epifcopal Power, otherwife, nor longer Time, than fhall be limited by fuch Commiffion to him to be given as is aforefaid, upon Pain to incur into the Pains, Lofles, Forfeitures and Penalties mentioned in the Statute of Provifions, made in the fixteenth Year of King Richard the Second.
