The Penalties. III. And be it further enafted by the Authority aforefaid. That all and. every the Oifender and Of- fenders, Offence and Offences aforefaid, fhall be fubjed and liable to the refpective Pains, Penalties and Forfeitures hereafter following, that is to fay. The faid Sheep, Wools, Wool-fells, Mortlings, Shor- lings, Yarn made of Wool, Wool-flocks, Fullers-earth and Fulling-clay fo exported, tranfported, car- ried, conveyed, packed or loaden contrary to the true Intent of this A<5f, fliall be forfeited ; (2) and that every Offender and Offenders therein fhall forfeit twenty Shillings for every fuch Sheep, and three Shil- lings for every Pound-weight of fuch Wool, Wool-fells, Mortlings, Shorlings, Yarn made of Wool, Wool-flocks, Fullers-earth or Fulling-clay ; (3) and alfo the Owners of the faid Ships or Veffels, know- ing fuch Offence, Ihall forfeit all their Intereft in the faid Ships or Velfels, with all their Apparel and Fur- niture to them and every of them belonging; (4) and that the Mailer and Mariners thereof, knowing fuch Offence, and wittingly and willingly Aiding and Affifling thereunto, fhall forfeit all their Goods and Chattels, and have Imprifonment for the Space of three Months without Bail or Mainprize; (5) the one Moiety of which faid Penalties and Forfeitures Ihall be to the King's Majefly, his Heirs and Suc- ceflbrs, and the other Moiety to him that will fue for the fame by Adtion of Debt, Bill, Plaint or In- formation in any of his Majefty's Courts of Record, or before the Juflices of Afllze, or in the General Quarter-Seffions of the Peace; in which Suit, no Effoin, Prote<5fion or Wager of Law fhall be allowed. The Penalty IV. And be it further enadfed. That if any Merchant, or other Perfon or Perfons, fhall after the faid upon any Mer- fourteenth Day of January tranfport or caufe to be tranfported any Sheep, Wool, Wool-fells, Mort- tranfoorTwools, ^^^Z^-y Shorlings, Woollen-yarn, Wool-flocks, Fullers-earth or Fulling-clay, contrary to the true Intent

count of any Fadtor or others, for or concerning any Debt or Eftate properly belonging to fuch Offender : Provifo. (2) Provided always, and it is neverthelefs declared. That this Adl, or any Thing therein contained, fhall not be conflrued to take away any greater Pains or Penalties inflidted, or to be inflidted, for any the Offences aforefaid, by Virtue of any former Adt of Parliament now in Force. Offences apiinft V. And be it alfo further enadfed by the Authority aforefaid.
