CAP. XXV. An Ad: for continuing and reviving of divers Statutes, and for repealing of fbme others. BE it enacfted by Authority of this prefent Parliament, That one A61 made in the one and twentieth Year of the Reign of the late King Hemy the Eighth, intituled, ' An AcStfor the true making of Ca- ' bles, Halfers and Ropes :' II. And that an Ail made in the four and twentieth Year of the Reign of the faid King Henry the Eighth, intituled, ' An AiSlagainft killing of young Beafts called Weanlings :' III. And that two A(5ls made in the Parliament holden at Wejiminjler by Prorogation, the fourth Day of November, and continued until the firft Day of February next after, in the third and fourth Years of the Reign of the late King Edward the Sixth, the one concerning the Buying and Selling of Rother Beafts and Cattle ; the other intituled, ' An A61: for the Buying and Selling of Butter and Cheefe :' IV. And that one Aft made in the firft Year of the Reign of the late Queen Elizabeth, intituled, ' An ' A(5l for Prefervation of Spawn and Fry of Filh : V. And that an A(St made in the fifth Y'ear of the Reign of the faid late Queen Elizabeth, intituled, ' An A<5t for avoiding divers Foreign Wares made by Handicraftfmen beyond the Seas :' VI. And fo much of another A& made the fame Year, intituled, ' An A6t touching certain politick ' Conftitutions made for the Maintenance of the Navy,' as is not repealed by any later Statute, nor doth concern the Tranfportation of Herring or other Sea-fi(h, nor Freedom of Cuftom, Subfidy or Tonnage for the lame, nor Tranfportation of Corn; together with all and every other Additions, Explanations an4 Alterations m.ade thereunto or thereof, or of any Part thereof, by any Statute or Statutes made fithence the making of the faid laft mentioned Adl, and now ftanding in Force : VII. And that an A6t made in the eighth Year of the Reign of the faid late Queen Elizabeth, intituled, ' An Act for Bowyers, and the Prices of Bows :' VIII. And that three Acls made in the thirteenth Year of her late Majefty's Reign : One intituled, 'An ' Act that Purveyors may take Grain, Corn and Victuals, within five Miles of Cambridge and Oxford, ' in certain Cafes; (2) Another, ' An A(5t againft Frauds defeating Remedies for Delapidations ; (3) The Third, ' An A6t touching Leafes of Benefices and other Ecclefiaftical Livings with Cure,' together with all and every Explanations, Additions and Alterations thereof, or of any of them, or to any of them, made by feveral Statutes of the fourteenth, eighteenth and three and fortieth Years of her faid late Majefty's Reign : IX. And that an A&: made in the eighteenth Year of her faid Majefty's Reign, intituled, ' An AA ' for the Repairing and Amending of Bridges and Highways near unto the City of Oxford :' X. And fo much of one other Act made the fame eighteenth Year, intituled, ' An A(5t for fetting the ' Poor on Work, and avoiding ofldlenefs,' as concerneth Baftards begotten out of lawful Matrimony: XI. And that two A£ts made in the feven and twentieth Year of her faid Majefty's Reign, the one in- tituled, ' An A:t for the good Government of the City or Borough o( fpyiminjler •/ (2) the other, ' An ' A6t for reviving a former Statute for true Making of Malt;' (3) together alfo with an A<ft made in the nine and thirtieth Year of her faid Majefty's Reign, intituled, ' An AcTt to reftrain the exceffive Making ' of Malt ; ' (4) And a third Adt made in the faid feven and twentieth Year of her faid Majefty's Reign, intituled, ' An Act for keeping the Sea-Banks and Sea-Works in the County of Norfolk :' XII. And two A6ls made in the one and thirtieth Year of her faid Majefty's Reign; the one intituled, ' An A6i: for the true Gaging of Veflels brought from beyond the Seas, converted by Brewers for the ' Utterance and Sale of Ale and Beer;' (2) the other, ' An Aft for reviving and enlargino^of a Statute ' made in the three and twentieth Year of her faid Majefty's Reign, for the Relief of the City of Lin- « coin :' XIII. And that three Adts made in the five and thirtieth Year of her f^d Majefty's Reign ; one in- tituled, ' An Aft to retain the Queen's Majefty's Subje6ts in their due Obedience;' (2) ' Another for ' Reformation of fundry Abufes in Clothes called Devonftiire Kerfies or Dozens, according to a Procla- ' mation of the four and thirtieth Year of her faid Majefty's Reign;' (3) The Third, An A dt for ' the bringing, in of Clap-board from the Parts of beyond the Seas, and the reftraining of the Tranf- ' porting of Wine-Cafk, for the fparing and preferving of Timber within the Realm :' XIV. And the feveral A<Sts hereafter mentioned, made in the nine and thirtieth Year of her faid Ma- jefty's Rei?n, that is to fay.
