And whcreas fince the Eftablifhment of the Prefbyterian Government in iScff^/a/zi^, fome Laws ha'e fi-onnTithesj&c. « been made by the Parliament in Scotland zgiirA the Epifcopal Clergy of that Part of the united Kingdom, ' and particularly an A6t pafled in the Parliament held in the Year one thoufand fix hundred ninety-five, ' intituled, ASl againjl irregular Baptifms and Marriages, by which all Epifcopal Minifters, who were ' turned out of their Churches, are prohibited to baptize any Children, or to iblemnize any Marriage,, ' upon Pain of perpetual Imprifonment or Baniftiment ;' Be it therefore enadted by the Authority aforefaid, in i6 re'^aled- That the faid Aft above-mentioned be hereby repealed and annulled ; and that in all Time comingno Perfon and none kail' ' or Perfons fhall incur any Difability, Forfeiture, or Penalty whatfoever, upon Account of his or their re- "incur anyPe- forting to the faid Epiicopal Meetings held for the Worfliip of God ; and that it ftiall be free and lawful iiahy for refoit- for all the Subjefts in that Part of Great Britain called Scotland, to afFemble and meet together for Divine M°.
