And be it enadted by the Authority aforefaid, That all the Monies lent and to be lent to his Ma- or th^e Money j e fty upon one Act of this Seffion of Parliament, intituled, An Ati for granting an Aid to his Maj.Jiy by ScH^m t a Land-tax to-be raifed in Great Britain, for the Service of the Tear one thoufand /even hundred and eighteen ; ■Parliament. an< ^ '° muc h Money (if any fuch be) of the Tax thereby granted as fhall arife and remain after all the Loans made or to be made on that Act and the Intereft thereof, and the Charges thereby allowable for ■ railing the faid Tax, fhall be fatisfied, or Money fufficient fhall be referved to difcharge the fame ; and all the Monies lent and to be lent to his Majefty upon this preient Act, except fo much thereof as is to be ap- plied to the Satisfaction of the Principal and Intereft of the unfatisfied Loans upon the Lid former Act for the Duties on Malt, Mum* Cyder and Perry ; and fo much of the Duties on Malt, Mum, Cyder and Perry by this Act granted or continued, as fhall arife and remain (if any fuch be) after all the Loans made and to be made on this Act, or hereby diredted to be difcharged, and the Intereft thereof, and the Charges by -this Act allowable for raifing the fame Duties, fhall be fatisfied, or Monies fufficient fhall be referved to difcharge the fame, fhall be appropriated and applied and are hereby appropriated for or towards the fevc* ral Ufes, Intents and Purpofes herein expreffed, fubjedt neverthelefs to fuch Reftridtions as are herein after prefcribed-; that is to fay, If is hereby enadted and declared, That out of all or any the Aids or Supplies provided as aforefaid there fhall and may be iffued or applied any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding in the whole the Sum of feven hundred forty-four thoufand eight hundred fifty-feven Pounds fourteen Shil- lings and eleven Pence, for or towards the naval Services following ; that is to fay, for or towards defray- ing the Charges of the Ordinary of his Majefty's Navy, and for Half-pay to Sea-officers, and for or to- wards Victual, Wages, Wear and Tear of the Navy and victualling thereof, performed or to be perform* ed ; and for or towards Sea-fervice in the Office of Ordnance performed and to be performed, and other Services of the Navy performed and to be performed ; and any further Sum or Sums of Money, not ex- ceeding one hundred fixty-five thoufand three hundred and feventeen Pounds, for or towards Repairs of his Majefty's Navy performed and to be performed ; and any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding fe- venty-three thoufand three hundred twenty-feven Pounds, twelve Shillings and eleven Pence, for the Charge of the Office of Ordnance, for or towards Land-fervices performed and to be performed ; and any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding in the whole the Sum of nine hundred and nineteen thoufand feven hun- dred thirty-one Pounds fourteen Shillings and eight Pence Half-penny, for or towards maintaining his Majefty's Land-forces and other Services herein after expreffed ; that is to fay, any Sum not exceeding fix hundred and fifty thoufand Pounds, for defraying the Charge of fixteen thoufand three hundred forty-feven Men for Guards and Garrifons, and other his Majefty's Land-forces in Great Britain^ Jerfey and Guernfy, and other Services relating to the Forces for the Year one thoufand feven hundred and eighteen ; and any Sum not exceeding thirty-five thoufand feven hundred fixty-fix Pounds and five Shillings, for or towards • • jnaintainirig his Majefty's Forces and Garrifons in the Plantations in America for the Year one thoufand feven hundred
