Stat, i, Ail for the better Support of her Majefty's Houjhold, and of the Honour and Dignity of the Crown, it wasc 7. (amor.gft other Things) enafted, That the Rates and Duties of Excife, upon Beer, Ale, and other Li- quors, which had been granted to his late Majefly King Charles the Second (of Bleffed Memory) by an isC r. i.e. 2^ Aft made in the twelfth Year of his P-eign, intituled, A Grant of certain Impoftions upon Beer, Ale, and other Liquors, for the Increafe of his Mcjejtys Revenue during his Life, and which were granted to their la Majefties King William and Queen Mary (of Bleffed Memory) by an Aft made in the fecond Year of 2 w. &M. their Re'gn, for their Lives, and the Life of the Survivor of them (a certain Duty of fix Pence for every Sell; 1. c. 3. Barrel of Vinegar-Beer, granted by the fame Acts, excepted) and alfo a Duty of fix Pence, Part of a Duty of eight Shillings, which was granted to his faid late Majefly King William, for and upon every Barrel of Vinegar, Vinegar-Beer, or Liquor preparing for Vinegar, which fhould be brewed or made of any Engliflj Materials, by any Perfon or Perfons whatfoever for Sale, and fo in proportion for a greater or letter Quantity, by an Aft made in the tenth Year pf his Reign : And likewife the further Sublidy of '10& uW. 3.
