And for the more fpeedy Payment of the Monies which fhall be due and payable to any Perfon and Perfons, Body or Bodies Politick or Corporate, who fliall become Purchafer or Purchafers as aforefaid' (if any fuch be) and to his, her or their Executors, Adminiftrators, Succeflors and Affigns refpeftively' Weekly Pay- U p n fuch Order or Orders as aforefaid; It is hereby further enafted and declared by the Authority afore- ttponOidet* fcc! ^ a '^» t ' ia(: wee kly or otherwife, as the Monies appointed or intended by this Aft to be applied for or to- ' wards the faid Payments to grow due to him, her or them as aforefaid, fhall from Time to Time be brought into the Receipt of the Exchequer, and fliall or ought to be fet apart for that Purpofe, fuch Mo- nies fhall and may, from Time to Time, be iffued upon fuch Order or Orders, for or towards difcharg- ing the faid Part or Parts of the faid Annuities or yearly Funds, which fliall be purchafed as aforefaid' and fhall grow due at the end of that Quarter of a Year in which fuch IfTues or Payments fliall be made' fo as fuch weekly or other Payments do not exceed the Sums, which fliall grow due for or at the End of fuch Quarter refpeftively. Purchafers of x. And be it further enafted by the Authority aforefaid, That it fliall and may be lawful to and for any Tau^Mone^by Body or Bodies Politick or Corporate, who fhall have purchafed or agreed for any Part or Parts of the taking in Sub- faid Annuities of the faid South-Sea Company as aforefaid, for better enabling themfelves to pay for the fcriptions for fame (if they fliall fee Caufe) to raife Money, by opening Books for taking in Subfciptions from any Per- Saleof Capital f on or Perfons (as well their own Members as others) for the Sale of their Capital Stock created as Stock, &c aforefaid, or any Part thereof, and the proportional Part of the purchafed Annuities to attend the fame or by making any Call or Calls of Money from the refpeftive Member or Members of fuch Body or Bo- dies Politick or Corporate, proportionably to the Shares which fuch Members fhall then have in the Ca- pital Stock or Stocks of the fame, and by flopping and difpofing the Shares and Dividends of fuch Mem- bers, as fhall make Default in anfwering fuch Call or Calls, and applying the Money fo flopped or raifed for the Purpofe aforefaid, or by borrowing Money upon Bonds, Bills or Obligations, under the common Sea] or Seals of fuch Body or Bodies Politick or Corporate or otherwife, as to them fhall feem moil meet and convenient; and every fuch Body or Bodies Politick or Corporate, is and are hereby enjoined and required to apply or caufe to be applied the Monies fo raifed, for or towards paying or completing the Payment of the Purchafe Money to the faid South-Sea Company, for fuch Part or Parts of their faid An- nuities which fhall be fo purchafed as aforefaid. Capital Stock, XI.
