Provided always, and be it enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That all Monies lent and to be theSupplies lent to his Majefty upon one Act of this Seffion of Parliament, intituled, An AB for granting an Aid to his granted this Mcjefly by a Land-Tax to be raifed in Great Britain, for the Service of the Tear one thoufand feven hundred and aC°o ' twenty-three; and fo much Money (if any fuch be) of the Tax thereby granted, as (hall arife or remain after all the Loans made or to be made thereupon, and the intereft thereof, and the Charges allowable for, railing the faid Land-Tax fliall be fatisfied, or Money fufficient (hall be referved in the Exchequer to dif- charge the fame; and all the Monies raifed and to be raifed by way of a Lottery or otherwife, by Virtue of an Act of this Seffion of Parliament, for continuing the Duties on Malt, Mum, Cyder and Perry, to raife Money by Way of a Lottery, for the Service of the Year one thoufand feven hundred and twenty- three, and fo much of the fame Duties upon Malt, Mum, Cyder and Perry, by that Act granted or continued, as fhall arife or remain (if any fuch be) after all the Payments thereby directed to be made upon Certificates, as well for the unfortunate as fortunate Tickets therein mentioned, and other Monies thereby transferred or chargable thereupon, and the Charges by that Act allowable for the Execution thereof fhall be fatisfied, or Money fufficient ihall be referved to difcharge the fame; and the Sum of eighteen thoufand two hundred and forty-three Pounds one Shilling and two Pence Half-penny, remain- ing in the Receipt of his Majefty's Exchequer on Arrears of former Land-Taxes; and all the Monies to g Geo. i.e. 18. be raifed by Loans or Exchequer-Bills, by an Act of this Seffion of Parliament, intituled, An Ail for granting an Aid to his Majefly by laying a Tax upon Papifs, and for making fuch other Perfons, as upon due Summons fall refufe or neglect to take the Oaths therein mentioned, to contribute towards the faid Tax; for re- hnburjhg to the Publick Part of the great Expences occafioned by the late Confpirdcics; and for dif charging the Eftates of Pap if) s from the two third Parts of the Rents and Profits thereof far one Tear, and all Arrears of the Jame, and from fuch Forfeitures as are therein more particularly defcribed, in the Manner thereby prefcribed, other than the Monies of the Aid or Affefirnents thereby granted, which in Purfuance thereof are to be applied for Repayment of the Loans to be made, or difcharging the Exchequer-Bills to be iffued there- upon, and fuch other Payments as are thereby appointed to be paid out of the fame, fhall be appropriated and applied, and are hereby appropriated for and towards the feveral Ufes, Intents and Purpofes herein expreffed; fubject neverthelefs to fuch Redactions as are herein after prefcribed; that is to fay, 84,15.21. 4s. 6d.
