and whereas there ftiil remains of the faid feveral Annui- ties unfubferibed into the Capital Stock of the faid Company the feveial Annuities following, that is to 1 the yearly Sum of (even thouiand nine hundred fifty-eight Pounds fix Shillings and eight 1 things, being after the Rate of four Pounds per Centum per Annum, for or in Xefpect of t.v - Principal Sum of one hundred ninety-eight thoufand nine hundred fifty-eight Pou;i" igl II illi three Pence, for the before-mentioned Tallies of Sol, the yearly Sum of fifteen thoufand feven hundred twenty-feven Pounds fifteen Shillings and nine Pence Farthing, being after the Rate of four Pounds per Cen- tum per Annum, for or in Refpectof the unfubferibed Principal Sum of three hundred ninety-three thoufand one hundred ninety-four Pounds fourteen Shillings and five Pence Half-penny, for the before-mehtioned Army-Debentures ; and the yearly Sum of two thouiand three hundred and thirty-two Pounds, being after the like Rate of four Pounds per Centum per Annum, for or in P.efpect of the Principal Sum of fifty-eight thoufand three hundred Pounds, remaining unfubferibed of the faid Lottery Fund of the fifth Year of your Majefty's Reign ; all which unfubferibed Principal Sums amount together to the Sum of fix hundred and fifty thoufand four hundred and fifty-three Pounds two Shillings and eight Pence Half-penny ; and the fe- veral Annuities attending thereon amount together to the yearly Sum of twenty-fix thoufand and eighteen Pounds two Shillings and fix Pence, and are payable by the Camier of the Bank of England': And whereas, by or in Purfuance of fundry fubfequent Acts of Parliament, for taking and dating the Accounts and Debts or the Army, feveral ftanding Orders have been or may be made out for Payment at your Majefty's Ex- chequer, of fundry Annuities, amounting together to the yearly Sum of twenty-one thoufand nine hundred and fifty-feven Pounds eleven Shillings and eight Pence Farthing, being after the Rate of four Pounds per Centum per Annum, for or in Refpect of feveral Principal Sums, amounting together to five hundred forty- eight thoufand nine hundred thirty-nine Pounds twelve Shillings and fix Pence Farthing, contained in Army- Debentures, for Debts certified fince the twenty-firft Day of March one thoufand feven hundred and nine- teen ; which laft mentioned Annuities are alfo charged on the faid General Fund of feven hundred twenty- four thoufand eight hundred forty-nine Pounds fix Shillings and ten Pence and one fifth Part of a Penny per Annum, and are made payable until the Redemption thereof by Parliament, upon fuch Notice or No- tices, as in or by the feveral Acts of Parliament relating thereto are for that Purpofe required ; and where- as all the before- mentioned unfubferibed Principal Sums transferrable at the Bank of England, and the feveral Principal Sums contained in the faid Exchequer-Orders, amount together to the Principal Sum of one mil- lion one hundred and ninety-nine thoufand three hundred and ninety-two Pounds fifteen Shillings and two Pence three Farthings, and the feveral Annuities attending thereon amount together to the yearly Sum of forty-feven thoufand nine hundred feventy-five Pounds fourteen Shillings and two Pence Farthing ; and whereas your Majefty's molt dutiful and loyal Subjects, the Commons in Great Britain in Parliament aflem- bled, being determined that the faid feveral before-mentioned Annuities fhouid be redeemed in order to leflen the Publick Debts and Incumbrances, and the neceffary Charges relating thereto, as faft as may be confiftent with Juftice and Honour, did on the feventh Day of March one thoufand feven hundred and No-ice by the twenty- fix, order their Speaker to fignify in Writing their feveral Refolutions to redeem the faid feveral An- Speaker on nuities ;' Therefore we your Majefty's molt dutiful and loyal Subjects, the Commons of Great Britain 7 l Ia . rch s ~ l6 ' n Parliament afiembled, do moft humbly befeech your Majefty, that it may be enacted ; And be it enacted by deemirT'there 5 " the King's moft excellent Majefty, by and with the Advice and Confent of the Lords Spiritual and Tempo- Annuities &c. ral, and Commons, in this prefent Parliament afiembled, and by the Authority of the fame, That fuch Or- ders and Significations as aforefaid, fhall be and be deemed, adjudged and taken to be good and fufficient Notice or Notices within the true Intent and Meaning of the feveral Acts of Parliament for the Redemption of the faid feveral Annuities, and the fame fhall be redeemable accordingly ; any Thing in the farhe, or any other Act or Acts of Parliament to the contrary in any wife notwithftanding.
