VI. Provided always, and be it enacted by the Authority aforefaid, , That all the Monies cornin» into the Exchequereither by Loans or Exchequer-Bills, upon one Act of this Seffion of Parliament, intituled An Aii for continuing the Duties upon Malt, Minn, Cyder and Perry, in that Part of Great Britain called Eng- land, and for granting to his Majefty certain Duties upon Malt, Mum, Cyder and Perry, in that Part of Great Britain called Scotland, for the Service of the Year one thoufand [even hundred and tiventy-nine, and for making good the Deficiency of a late Malt Atl, and fo much Money, if any fuch be, of the Duties thereby granted or continued, as fhall arife and remain after all the Loans or Exchequer-Bills made or to be made on the fame Act, and all the Intcreft, Pramium, or Rate and Charges thereon, and the Charges thereby allowable far raifing the faid Duties, fhall be Satisfied, or Money fufficient (hall be referved to difcharge the fame • and all the Monies coming into the Exchequer either by Loans or Exchequer-Bills, upon one other Act of this Seffion of Parliament, intituled, An Atl for granting an Aid to his Majefty by a Land-Tax to be raifed in Great Britain for the Service of the Tear one thoufand feven hundred and twenty-nine, and fo much Money, if any fuch be of the Tax thereby granted, as fhall arife and remain, after all the Loans or Exchequer-Bills made or to be made on the fame Act, and all the Intereft, Prtsmium or Rate and Charges thereon, and the Charges thereby allowed for railing the faid Land-Tax fhall be Satisfied, or Money fufficient fhall be referved in the Exche- quer to difcharge the fame ; and the Sum of one million two hundred and fifty thoufand Pounds to be ad- vanced by the Governor and Company of the Bank of England, for the Purchafe of an Annuity of fifty thoufand Pounds per Annum, in Pursuance of another Aft of this prefent Seffion of Parliament, intituled An Ail for raifing the Sum of one million Hvo hundred and fifty thoufand Pounds, by Sale of Annuities to the Bank of England, after the Rate of four Pounds per Centum per Annum, redeemable by Parliament, and for apply- ing the Produce of the Sinking Fund, and the Sum of eleven thoufand fix hundred ninety-four Pounds feven- teen Shillings and eight Pence Half-penny, remaining in the Receipt of his Majefty's Exchequer on Arrears of former Land-Taxes, fhall be appropriated and applied, and are hereby appropriated for and towards the feveral Ufes, Intents and Purpofes herein expreiTed, fubject neverthelefs to fuch Restrictions as are herein after prefcribed ; that is to fay, It is hereby enacted and declared, That out of all or any the Aids or Supplies aforefaid, there fhall and may be jffued and applied any Sum or Sums of Money not exceeding nine hundred eighty-fix thoufand twenty-five Pounds ten Shillings and five Pence, for or towards the Na- val Services herein after more particularly expreffed ; that is to fay, For or towards defraying the Charge of the Ordinary of his Majefty's Navy, and for Half-pay to Sea-Officers, and for or towards Victuals, Wages Wear and Tear of the Navy, and the Victualling thereof, performed and to be performed, and for or to- wards Sea-Services in the Office of Ordnance performed and to be performed, and for or towards other Ser- vices of the Navy performed and to be performed. VII. And it is hereby further enacted, That out of all or any the Aids or Supplies as af -refaid, there fhall and may be iilued and applied any Sum or Sums of Money not exceeding ten thoufand Pounds^ upon Account, for and towards the Support of the Royal Hofpital at Greenwich, for the better Maintenance of the Seamen in the faid Hofpital, worn out and become decrepit in the Service of their Country. VIII. And it is hereby alfo enacted, That out of all or any the Aids or Supplies as aforefaid, there fhall and may be ifTued and applied any Sum or Sums of Money not exceeding ninety thoufand two hundred and forty-nine Pounds three Shillings and (ix Pence, for or towards defraying the Charge of the Office of Ordnance for Land- Service, performed and to be performed, and for defraying the extraordinary Ex- pence of the Office of Ordnance for Land Services, not provided for by Parliament. IX. And it is hereby likewife enacted, That out of all or any the Aids or Supplies provided as afore- faid, there fhall or may be iffued and applied any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding in the whole the Sum of one million three hundred fifty-two thoufand one hundred thirty-eight Pounds nineteen Shillings and five Pence Half- penny, for or towards maintaining his Majefty's Land-Forces, and other Services herein after more particularly expreffed ; that is to fay, Any Sum not exceeding feven hundred eighty-four thou- fand nine hundred eighty-three Pounds twelve Shillings and one Penny Half-penny, for defraying ths Charge of twenty -two thoufand nine hundred fifty-five Men, including Commiffion and Non-Commiffion Officers, and Invalids, for Guards, Garrifons, and fix Independent Companies for the Service of the Hioh- lands, and. other his Majefty's Land Forces in Great Britain, Guernfiey and "ferfey; and other Services relaftno- to the Forces, for the Year one thoufand feven hundred and twenty-nine ; and any Sum or Sums of Money not exceeding one hundred and fixty thoufand three hundred and fifty-feven Pounds one Shilling and five Penpe Half-penny, for maintaining his Majefty's Forces _ and Garrifons in the Plantations, Minorca and Gibraltar, and for Provifions for the Garrifons at Annapolis Royal, Placentia and Gibraltar, for the Year one The Overplus how to be ap- plied, See 3 Geo, 2. c.l6.fecr. 18, Expenses and Services incurred and not provided for. by Parliament ; and any Sum or Sums of Money "not exceeding fifty-feven thoufand Pounds upon Account of Half-pay to the reduced Officers of his Majefty's Land-Forces and Marines for the Year one thoufand feven hundred and twenty-nine; fubjetSt nevertnelef- to fuch Rules to be obferved in the Application of the faid Half-pay, as are herein after prefcribed concern-'- ingthe fame, and the Sum of two hundred forty-one thoufand two hundred fifty-nine Pounds one Shiiiih'o- anc?
