C. 2r. 59 any Part thereof, which fliall appear at the End of any one Year, to be reckoned as aforefaid, for Payment Deficii icj of fuch Annuities as fhall be purchafed upon this Act, at the Rate aforefai.:, for the fame Year refpectively, r,i, ; ; 6°°d •»* fliall be fupplied or made up, from Time to Time, out of the firft Aids to be granted in Parliament next ^p^if^^e* after fuch Deficiency fliall appear, and fhall from Time to Time be transferred thereunto, as foon as fuch ' a Aid fhall be granted ■fpedtivc Days and Times by this Act limited in that Behalf, any Sum or Sums of l,oney, not exceeding in the whole the fetid Sum of one hundred fixty-nine thoufand Pounds for the Purchafe of any Annuity or Annuities, to commence from the faid Feafl of Saint Michael the Archangel in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and fifteen, and to be paid and payable to fuch Contributor or Contributors, or fuch as he, fhe or they fliall nominate, his, her or their Executors, Administrators, Succeflbrs or Assigns respectively, until the fame fliall be redeemed according to the Tenor or true Meaning of the Pro- vifo br'Condition hereinafter-mentioned in that Behalf, fo as fuchCafhier orCafhiers do firft give Security to the good Liking of any three or more of the Commiffioners of his Majefty's Treafury now being, or of the 'High Treasurer or Commiffioners of the Treafury for the Time being, for dul/ anfwering and paying into the Receipt of the Exchequer for the publick Ufe, the Monies fo to be advanced or contri- buted, and to account duly for the fame; and the Purchafe-Money for every fuch Annuity at the Rate aforefaid, is hereby appointed to be paid to the faid Cafhi-r, as aforefaid, at or before the respective Days and Times herein after limited, that is to fay, one fifth Part thereof on or before the twenty-ninth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and fifteen ; one other fifth Part thereof, on or before the twenty-ninth Day of November in the Year of our Lord one thoufand {even hundred and fifteen ; one other fifth Part thereof on or before the twenty-eighth Day of January thence next enfu'ing'; one other fifth Part thereof on or before the twenty-ninth Day of March then next following ; and the remaining fifth Part thereof on or before the twenty-ninth Day of May which fliall be in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and fixteen ; all which Annuities fo to be purchafed fhall not. exceed in the whole the faid Sum of eight thoufand four hundred and fifty Pounds per Annum, and fhall be paid and payable at the four moll ufual Feafts or Days of Payment in the Year, (that is to fay) the Feafts of the Times °f v#* Bjrth of our Lord Christ, the A nunciation of the bleffed Virgin Mary, the Nativity of Saint John Baptift, and" Saint Michael the Archangel, by even and equal Portions, or within fix Days after every of the faid Feaft-Days ; the firft Payment thereof to be due at the Feaft of the Birth of our Lord Chrift ' which fhall be in the Year of our Lord one thoufand feven hundred and fifteen, or within fix Days after the fame Feaft-Day ; neverthelefs the faid Annuities fhall be redeemable according to the Purport and true Meaning of a Provifo or Condition herein after contained in that Behalf, and not otherwise; and the faid Cafhier of the faid Governor and Company for the Time being, is hereby authorized and re- Cafiiiej to give quired, upon advancing and paying to him any fuch Sum and Sums of Money, as aforefaid, forthwith to * R "-t P > to give a Receipt in Writing, signed by himfelf for each Payment, to the Contributor or Payer thereof, and a .,a t( J pay in ' cd from Time to Time to pay into the Receipt of his Majefty's Exchequer all the Monies which he fhall the 2fechttiucS> receive of or for the faid Sum, not exceeding one hundred fixty-nine thoufand Pounds, as faff, as he fliall &c. receive the 'fame, or any Part thereof, or within five Days at the farthest; and to account for all the Monies fo to be advanced "to him in his Majefty's Court of Exchequer, according to, the due Courfe thereof; in which Account the faid Cafhier fhall have juft Allowance of all Monies which he fliall have paid for prompt' Payments purfuant to this Act. XIV. And it is hereby enacted, That in the Office of the Accountant General of the Governor and ctneraiiftitt Company of the Bank of England, for the Time being, there fhall be provided and kept a Book or Books, ^tCs. to keep in which' there fliall be fairly entred the Names of all who fhall be Contributors for fuch Annuities, aftera Book of the the Rate of five Pounds per Centum per Annum, as aforefaid, and of all Perfons by whole Hands the faid Contributors. Contributors fliall pay in any of the faid Sums upon this Act, and alfo the Sum fo. paid ; to which Book it fhall be lawful for the faid refpective Contributors, their Executors, Administrators, Succeflbrs and Assigns, from Time to Time, at all feafonab'e Times to have Refort and infpect the fame, without Fee or Charge; End the faid Accountant General for the Time being fliall, on or before the twenty-fourth Day of June one " thoufand feven hundred and fixteen, transmit an aUeffed Duplicate fairly written in Paper, of the faid Book or Books into the Office of the Auditor of the Receipt of his Majefty's Exchequer, there to remain for ever. XV. And it is hereby .enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That all and every the Annuities fo to be Annuities char, purchifed at the Rate aforefaid, fhall be and are hereby.charged upon, and fhall be paid and payable fi'°m^ d 8 "" t 1 e ^" n Time to Time out of the Monies arifing and to arife of or for the faid yearly Fund of eight thoufand four hundred and fifty Pounds, or by other the Provisions or Supplies made or to be made by or in pursuance of this Act "for the Payment thereof, in the Manner and Form by this Act prefcrihed in that Behalf; and that all and every Contributor and Contributors upon this Act, duly paying the Consideration or Ptirchafe- Mo'ney at the Rat; aforefaid, at or before the refpective Days and Times in this Act limited in that Behalf for fuch Annuity or Annuities, as aforefaid, or fuch as he, fhe or they fliall appoint, his, her or their respective Executors, Administrators, Succeflbrs and Affigns, fhall have, receive and enjoy, and be entitled by virtue "of this Act to have, receive and enjoy the refpective Annuity and Annuities fo to be purchafed, out of the Monies by this Act appropriated or appointed, 'or to-be fupplied for Payment thereof, as afore- ' faid, and fhalfhave good and fure Estates and Interests therein for ever, fubj.ect only to the Provifo or Con- dition of Redemption in this Act afterwards contained concerning the fame ; and that all the faid Annuities h to
