An Aft to rectify a Miitake in an Aft made in the fixth Year of the Reign of his late Majefty King George for preventing Frauds and Abufes in the publick Reve- nues of Excife, Cuftoins, Stamp Duties, Poft-oflice, and Houfe-money, relating to the Condition of Bonds taken from Mafters of Ships; and to indemnify Perfons who have afted under the faid Miitake; and alfo to ob- viate a Doubt which has arifen upon an Aft made in the feventh Year of his faid late Majefty's Reign, for the further preventing his Majefty's Subjects from trading to the Eaji Indies under foreign Commiifions; and for encouraging and further fecuring the lawful Trade thereto, with regard to Profecutions in Ireland in a fum- mary Way, for the fraudulent Importation of Eajl In- dia Goods into that Kingdom. 23. An Act for providing a Rev/ard to Joanna Stephens, upon a proper Difcovery to be made by her, for the Ufe of the Publick, of the Medicines prepared by _ her for the Cure of the Stone. 24. An Aft to impower the High Court of Chancery to lay out, upon proper Securities, any Monies, not ex- ceeding a Sum therein limited, out of the common and general Cafh in the Bank of England, belonging to the Suitors of the faid Court, for the Eafe of the faid Sui- tors, by applying the Intereft ariiing therefrom for an- fwering the Charges of the Office of the Accountant General of the faid Court. 25. An Aft to obviate fome Doubts which have arifen upon the Conftruftion of an Aft made in the firft Year of the Reign of King Willam and Queen Mary, inti- tuled, An AS for explaining Part of an Acl made in the firft Year of the Reign of King James the Firft, concerning tanned Leather; and for rendering more effectual a Claufe in the faid laft mentioned Aft, which obliges Curriers to curry Leather; and for repealing two Claufes in the faid laft mentioned Aft. 26. An Aft for afcertaining, preferving and improving the Navigation of the River Lee, from the Town of Hertford to the Town of Ware in the County of Herts. ford; and for preferving and improving the faid River, from the faid Town of Ware to the new Cut or River made by the Mayor, Commonalty and Citizens of London; and for enabling the Governor and Company of the New River the better to fupply the Cities of London and Weftminfter, and the Liberties and Suburbs thereof, with good and wholefome Water. 33- An Aft to enlarge the Powers of the Commiffioners. for building a Bridge crofs the River Thames from the Wool/laple or thereabouts, in the Parifti of Saint Mar- garet in the City of Wefbninjier, to the oppofite Shore in the County of Surrey; and to enable them by a Lot- tery to raife Money for the feveral Purpofes therein mentioned; and to enlarge the Time for enchanging Tickets unclaimed in the laft Lottery for the faid Bridge; and to make Provifion for Tickets in the faid Lottery, loft, burnt or otherwife deftroyed. 34. An Aft for enlarging the Term and Powers granted by an Aft paffed in the twelfth Year of the Reign of his late Majefty King George the Firft, for repairing- the Road from Spittlegate Hill near Gra?itha?n in the County of Lincoln, to Little Drayton in the County of Nottingham. 35. An Aft for enlarging the Term and Powers granted by an Aft parted in the eighth Year of the Reign of his late Majefty King George the Firft, for amending the Highways- leading from Brampton Bridge to Walford Bridge in the County of Northampton; and alfo the great Poft Road, from Morter-pit Hill, in the faid County, through Brixiuorth, Lamport, Maidwell, KeP marfh, and Oxenden-magna, to Chain Bridge, leading into Market Harbor ough in the County of Leicefter. 36.
