Hogfhead, Cafk, Cheft or other Package of Tobacco contained in luch Account, in the fame Manner and Penalty of Neg- Form as if the faid Tobacco had been delivered for Exportation ; and in cafe any Importer or Importers of To- Jra, or giving abacco fhall negleft to give in fuch Account as aforefiid, at the Time, and in fuch Manner and Form in all jah'e Account. Refpefls, and to all Intents and Purpofes, as herein before directed and required, or in cafe fuch Account fhall at the Time the fame is given in, or at any Time afterwards, appear to be falfe or fraudulent in any RefpciSl whatfoever, he, fhe or they knowingly offending in any or either of the Cafes aforefaid, fhall forfeit and Jofe the Sum of thirty Pounds for every Hogfhead or other Package of Tobacco, an Account of which is omitted to be given as before diredled, or of which a wrong Account fhall be knowingly given ; and the Perfon or Perfons to whom, or to whofe Order fuch Tobacco (hall have been fold or delivered, neglefting by him, her or themfelves, or his, her or their known Servant or Agent, to fign fuch Account as aforefaid, or knowingly figning any fraudulent Account, fhall alfo forfeit and lofe the Sum of thirty Pounds for every luch Hogfhead or other Package of Tobacco, of which no Account, or for which a fraudulent Account is knowingly given. No Tobacco, or IX. And be it further enafted by the Authority aforefaid. That from and after the twenty-ninth Day Tobacco Stalks, q^ September one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-one, no Tobacco or Tobacco Stalks, exceeding twenty- Snuffaboveiolb^'"°" PoLmds Weight, nor any SnufF exceeding ten Pounds Weight, fhall be in any Form or Manner to be carried by ' whatfoever removed, carried, or conveyed by Land from any Port or Place of Importation in Great Bri- Land from any tain, to any Other Port or Place within this Kingdom, unlefs in the Manner herein after directed ; that is Portoflm porta- to fay, if it is unmanufa6tured Tobacco, which is to be carried by Land as aforefaid, the fame fhall not be Mann"" herein conveyed, removed, or pafs without a Certificate being firft had and obtained from the Colledtor and Comp- liifcfted, troller, or other chief Officers at the Port or Place where fuch Tobacco was imported, together with the Importer's Oath thereto (in cafe fuch Importer fhall apply for the fame) that the Duties thereof were paid or fecured at the Importation, and by whom, and the Time when, and in what Ship or Veffel, Ships or VefTels, the fame and every Part thereof was imported ; and in cafe the Perfon applying for the fame, be a Purchafer from the Importer, then on Oath of fuch Purchafer, attefting the Marks and Numbers of the identical Hogfliead or Hogflieads fo purchafed, or out of which the faid Tobacco was taken, and from whom purchafed, and the Time when ; and if it is Tobacco Stalks or SnufF, or other manufadiured To- bacco which is to be carried by Land as aforefaid, the fame fhall not be conveyed, removed, or pafs without a Certificate, and Oath of the Importer (in cafe the Importer applies for the fame) being firft had and obtained as aforefaid, that fuch Stalks were ftripped or feparated; or f^uch Snufl-" or other manufactured Tobrcco was made from one or more Hogfhead or Hogfheads of Tobacco, for which the Duties were by him paid or fecured, at the Time of Importation ; and in cafe the Perfon applying for fuch Certificate be a Purchafer, fuch Purchafer fhall make oath, that fuch Stalks were ftripped or feparated, or fuch SnufF or other manufaftured Tobacco, was made from one or more Hogfhead or Hogfhead.^; of Tobacco, which Ce'n^iicites^.""' had been delivered and received according to the Directions of this hSt ; wfiich faid fever.il Certificates fuch Officer and Officers are hereby required and directed to grant, and after writing the fame off their Books, to deliver to all and every Perfon or Perfons, who fhall apply to him or them for the fame, without «Bpenaltyofiol.a,,y jTgg ^^ Reward whatfoever for fuch Certificates or Oaths, on pain of forfeiting the Sum of ten Pounds for every fuch Ofl-'ence.
