' Acls, Orders, Votes or'Refolutions, by virtue vshereot the fame have been fo refpcctively iffued :' For the providing a Remedy for fuch Liconveniencics, be it further ena(3:ed by the Authority aforefaid, That all fuch Paper Bills, or Bills of Credit, of what Kind or Uenomination foever, which have at any Thiie Kills of Credit heretofore been created and iffued on fuch Loans, v.iiliin any of the faid Colonies or Plantations, be duly on Loans, to be called in, and difcharged and funk, according to the Tenor of the refpeftive Acts, Orders, Votes or Re-

Bills, or Bills of Credit, already fubfifting withm the faid Colonies or Plantations, are herein before re- quired to be called in, difcharged and funk. That all Perfons who have borrowed and Jlonfy"™!!!^!!? tal^^en up any Sum or Sums of Money on Loans, for the Difcharge whereof they and their refpedive &c. compellable' Eftates ftand'bound, fhall be required and compelled, by a 1 due and legal Means, to fatisfy and difcharge to difcharge the the Sums by them borrowed, according to the 'I'erms of fuch Loans refpeftively, and the true Intent and fane. Meaning thereof, except as is herein before excepted ; and in cafe any Deficiency orLofs fhall happen by Failure of the Security fo taken on fuch Loans refpcftiyely, that the fame, and every Part thereof, fhall be fupplied and made good by an adequate Tax or Impofition, to be equally and rateably affeffed, levied and raifed within the faid Colonies or Plantations rei'peflively, where fuch Lofs or Deficiency fhall fo happen. VIIL Provided, That nothing herein contained fhall extend, or be conflrued to extend to make any of tl]e Bills now fubfifting in any of the faid Colonies a legal Tender.
