That all Vellum, Parchment and Pa- paper, &c. for per upon which any fuch Licence lliall from and after the Feal^ of Eajier one thoufand feven hundred Licences to be and' fifty-fix, be ingroffed, written or printed, be brought to the Head Office for ftamping or marking st'ampoffi«^ Vellum, Parchment and Paper; and the faid CommifiTioners by themfelves, or by their Officers im- ^ ' ployed under them, fhall forthwith upon Demand to their, made, by any Perfon or Perfons, from time to time. Stamp or Mark any Quantities or Parcels of Vellum, Parchment or Paper, to be u fed for the ^^^ p^^^j^^ ^^ Purpofe of ingrofiing, writing or printing fuch Licence, he or they paying to the Receiver General of be paid upon the Stamp Duties for the time being, or to his Deputy or Clerk, the Duty payable for the fame by ftamping. this AcSt, without any Fee or Reward ; which Stamp or Mark to be put thereupon in purfuance of this Aiff flia'll be a fufficient Difcharge for the Duty hereby payable for the faid Vellum, Parchment or Paper, which (liall be fo ftampt or marked.
