And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That there fliall be provided and kept Receipts and by the Chamberlain of the City of London for the Time being, one or more Book or Books, in which all DiAurfement the Receipts and Difburfements of the Money arifing and received by virtue of this Act fliall from Time to I? t^ entered m Time be fairly fet down and entered, truly expreffing the Times when, and the Names of the Perfons re- kept bv th» ibectively from and by whom the fame were fo received, and to whom and for what Ufes or Purpofes the chamberlain, fame fliall have been difburfed ; and an Account of fuch Receipts and Payments fliall be fairly drawn out and ftated, and figned by the faid Chamberlain once in every Year, and delivered by him to the faid Mayor, Accounts to he Aldermen and Commons of the faid City, in Common Council afTembled, who are hereby impowered auditedannuaily, from Time to Tim.e to audit, or caufe the fame to be audited, and to fettle the fame ; and after every fuch and laid before Audit fhall be made, the Chamberlain of the faid City of London for the Time being fhall yearly lay before Parlian.ent. each Houfe of Parliament a true Copy of every fuch Account or an Abftract thereof, within twenty Days after the Opening of every Seffion of Parliament. XXXVIIf. Provided likewife, and it is hereby alfo further enacted by the Authority aforefaid. That all Pcverofpyiting and every the Powers and Authorities in and by this Act given and granted to the Mayor, Aldermen and this Aainexe. Commons of the faid City of London, in Common Coimcil aflembled, fliall and may at all Times hereafter ^^j""";^^ ^ be exercifed and performed as fully and effectually to all Intents and Purpofes v/hatfoever, by any Committee committee" ^ who fliall be appointed from Time to Time by the faid Mayor, Aldermen and Commons of the faid City of London, In Common Council aflembled for putting in Execution, this Act, or performing any Matters her by directed to be done, according to the Authorities which from Time to Time by the iaid Mayor, Al- dermen and Commons of the faid City of London, in Common Council aiTembled, fnall be delegated or given to fuch Committee ; and that all and every Afts, Mattei-s and Things which at any Times hereafter fliall be done or tranfafted by any fuch Committee who fliall be appointed as aforefaid, fliall be as valid and effcftual to all Intents and Purpofes whatfoever, as if the fame were or had beendone, tranfafted or per- formed by the faid Mayor, Aldermen and Commons of the faid City of London, in Cornmon Council af- femhled ; any Thing in this Aft- before contained to the contrary thereof in any wife notwithftanding. XXXIX. And it is hereby alfo enafted by the Authority aforefaid.
