Therefore be it enacfed and declared, and it is hereby enacted and declared by the King's moft Excellent Majcfty, by and with the Advice and Confent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in The former' this prefent Parliament aflembled, and by the Authority of the fame. That the faid Bounty of thirty Wtmty to ceafe. Shillings /fr Ton by the faid two feveral A6ts granted and continued for the refpeiStive Terms of Years therein refpcdively mentioned, fhall from henceforth ceafe, determine and be at an End; and that in and in lifo there- lieu thereof, a Bounty of fifty Shillings per Ton on the Vefiels employed in the faid Fifheries, fhall be of, 50f.perTon paid and payable for inch Term and Terms of Years to the faid Society, and fuch other Perfons as would f-jse'm->o"d^a^^ ^'^'"'^ iiititlcd to the faid Bounty of thirty Shillings per l^on by virtue of or under the faid two fever.il the Fifhery. And v/hcreas by an Ad made in the twenty-ninth Year of his faid Majefl:y, intituled, An Aui for agCeo. 2.C.33. encouraging the Fifheries in that Part ^"Great Britain called Scotland, it is amongft other Things enadted. That from and after the twenty-fifth Day of June one thoufand {even hundred and fifty-eight, the Staves of all Barrels in which White Herrings and wet White Fifh, in that Part of Great Britain cMcd Scot/and fhall be packed or put up, fliall be at leaft one Half-part of an Inch in thickncfs throughout, under luch Penalty as in the faid Ad is mentioned: And whereas the faid Society, and other Perfons following the f;iid Fifheries, have at a very great Expence provided a large Q^iantity of barrels for the Packing their Fifh, and no Inconvenience hath arifen from the Make of fuch Barrels ; Be it therefore enaded and de- Regulation of clared by the Authority aforefaid.
