Provided always, and it is hereby enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That no Mill Drains made in whole fgr conveying the Water to any Mill fliall be cut in the whole Lands of any Perfon or Perfons within the Lands. j-^jj Ytw Lands or Low Grounds, except in fuch Parts thereof as are Adventurers Land or other Grounds Xxception. which contain ten Acres and upwards; nor fliall any fuch Cut or Drain be made in Bury Fen^ but that the Water fliall be iflued and conveyed through the Outring or Divifion Ditches only. Provided always, 'Fhat a certain Dike, called Delph Dike, fliall be and remain, for ever remain dair.cr.ed hereafter, dammed up as it now is ; and the CommilTioners for the fourth Diftrict fliall, from Time to Time, ^^' make and maintain fuch Banks as fhall be neceffary for keeping the fame fo dammed up; and if any Per- fon or Perfons fhall make or caufe to be made any Opening or Openings in the faid Dike, whereby any of the Lands within the fourth Diftrict fhall be prejudiced, every fuch Perfon fhall, for every fuch Offence, forfeit the Sum of five Pounds, and flial! alfo make full Compenfation and Satisfaction to all and every Perfon and Perfons who fhall be injured thereby, for the Damage fuch Perfon or Perfons fhall thereby fuftain; which Compenfation and Satisfaction ihall be recovered, together with full Cofts of Suit, in fuch Manner as is herein after prefcribed for Recovery of Damages fuftained by the Working of any Horfe iVMU or other Device. 1-ands vliich XL.
