That upon the Receipt of the full Price of Receipts to b© any Tickets in the faid Lottery fo fubfcribed for, or fuch Part thereof as is herein before directed to be g.ven for the paid by way of Depofit, fuch Cafliier or Cafliiers, or fuch other Officers as ihall be employed by the Go- Sums paid, &c. vernor and Company of the Bank ol England for that Purpofe, or fuch other Receiver or Receivers, flral! ^^j ^j^g Bearers- give Receipts in Writing figned by himfelfor themfelves, to every fuch Contributor, for all fuch Sums: which intitled to Tir- Receipts ihall intitle the feveral Bearers thereof to the Tickets, for or in refpecl of which the refpeclive kets in refpeit Sums mentioned in fuch Receipts fhall have been paid or advanced, thereof. IV. Provided alfo. That fuch Cafhier or Cafhicrs, or other Officers of the Governor and Company of Caftier to at- rr-d the Bank oi England, from and after the Time to be prefixed for the Delivery of Tickets as aforefaid, un- ^'^ the Bank from til the Books containing fuch Tickets fliall be re-delivered, and alfo from the Time Books fhall be opened ^^ receKe Sau-' for taking in Subfcriptions to the faid Lottery, until the Time herein before limited for Payment of the kripiionsi Refidue of fuch Sums as fliall be advanced by way of Depofit, fhall for the Performance of the Service hereby required from them, give their conftant Attendance at the Bank of i?«^/c/;/^/, from nine of the Clock in the Forenoon to three of the Clock in the Afternoon, and no longer, each Day (excepting Sun- days^ and Days of Failing or Thankfgiving, appointed by particular Acts of Parliament, or by the King's Proclamation). V. Provided always. That fuch Cafhier or Cafliiers, and fuch other Receiver or Receivers, fliall give CafTilet to give- Security to the good Liking of any three or more of the CommifTioners of the Treafury now being, o; SKimty j- the High Treafurer, or any three or more of the CommifTioners of the Treafury for the 'I'ime being, for duly anfwering and paying into the Receipt of his Majefly's Exchequer for the publick Ufe, all fuch Monies which fhall be fo contributed and paid to him or them, and for accounting duly for the fame, and for Performance of the Truft hereby in him or them repofed, and fhall, from Time to Time, with and to pay the all convenient Speed, fo pay all fuch Monies, and account for the fame in his Majefty's Exchequer, ac- Monies mto the cording to the due Courfe thereof. And be it further enaded by the Authority aforefaid. That fuch Perfons as the CommifTioners of Managers ao^ his Majefty's Treafury, or any three or more of them now being, or the High Treafurer, or any three or t>irechirs tf'.he more of the Commiftioners of the Treafury for the Time btnig, fliall nominate and appoint, fnall be g,^"^^ ^°^^ , Managers or Direflors for preparing and delivering out Tickets, and to overfee the Drav/ing of Lots, ^fv^^'cl^^^y^ ' * and to order, do and perform fuch other Matters and Things as are herein after in and by this Act direc- ted and appointed by fuch Managers and Directors to be done and performed ; and that fuch Managers B.oks to beprp- jtnd Dir.eifors Ihall meet together from Time to Time, at fome publick Office or Place for the Execution p.ned with th.ee kets, to be numbered one, two, three and fo onwards, in an arithmetical ProgrelTvon, where the comm.on- Excefs is to be one, until they rife to and for the Number of fixty-fix thoufand fix hundred and fixty- feven Tickets, being the fifteenth Part of one million and five Tickets, by this kOi intended to be niude forth, and to be diftributed into fifteen Ranks or Clafies to be fucceffiveiy marked with the fifteen firft Letters of the Alphabet, and each. Ticket in the faid feveral CaflTes to be marked with the Letters of the- Alphabet,. denoting the Clafs whereunto fuch Ticket fhall belong; and upon the middle Cclun^n of the' faid Books fhall be printed the fame Number of Tickets of the fame Breadth and Form, and alphabeti- cally marked and numbered in like Manner; and in the extream Column bf the faid Books fliall be printed j-icjcpt, fob* bf a,thii-d Rank or Series of Tickets, to be in like Manner alphabetically marked and numbered ; all which an oblong Forni, Tickets in the faid three Columns fliall feverally be of an oblong Figure'; and-in the faid Books fhall be and joinrd with' joined with oblique Lines, Flouriflies or Devices, in fuch Manner as the faid.
