V. And be it further enaded by the Authority aforefaid, That the feveral Rates and Duties herein before granted, fhall be paid, from time to time, into the Hands of the Receiver General for the Time being of the Duties on ftamped Vellum, Parchment and Paper; who {liall keep a feparate and diftin6l Account of the feveral Rates and Duties arifing by virtue of this A61:, and pay the. fame (the neceflary Charges of raifing, paying and accounting for fuch Rates and Duties being de-**] ducSlcd) into the Receipt of the Exchequer, for the Purpofes herein after cxpreffed, at fuch Time and in fuch Manner as any former Duties on {lamped Vellum, Parchment or Paper are dire<5led to be paid: And that in the Office of the Auditor of the faid Receipt {hall be provided and kept af , Book or Books, in which all the Monies arifing from the feveral Rates and Duties hereby grantedl, tennj; thefe Ducics apart and paid into thc faid Receipt as aforefaid, {ball be entered feparate and apart from all other Monies* | from all others. ^^jj ^j^j payable to his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeflbrs, upon any Account whatfoever, and fhal* be applied in fuch Manner as is herein after mentioned. That the faid Commiffioncrs, and a| ficcis und'-r ihem, to Other Officers who fliall be imployed in the Colle6lion or Management of the faid feveral Rates and obierye the Orders of the J3uties herein before granted, {hall in the Execution of their Offices obferve and perform fuch Rules and (Orders, as they repe<5lively fhall from time to time receive from the High Treafurer, or the Commiffioncrs of the Trcafury, or any three or more of them for the Time being ; and that no Fee or Reward fhall be taken or demanded by any fuch Commiffioncrs or Officers from any of his Majefty's Subjects, for any Matter or Thing to be done in purfuance of this A61 : And in cafe any Officer imployed in the Execution of this Act in relation to the faid Rates and Duties, fhall refufe or neglect to do or perform any Matter or Thing by this A(fl required or dircdled to be done or performed by him, whereby any of his Majefty's Subjects fliall or may fuftain any Damage whatfoever ; fuch Officer fo offending fhall be liable, by any Adlion to be founded on this Statute, to anfwer to thc Party grieved all fuch Damages, with Treble Cofts of Suit.
