LX. And be it further enaded by the Authority aforefaid. LXI. Provided always. LXII. Provided always, and be it enabled by the Authority aforefaid. LXIV. And be it further enadted. That no Fee, Reward or Gratuity whatfoever, fhal! be de- No Fee for Paympnt of manded or taken of any of his Majefty's Subjects, for receiving or paying the faid Contribution ^<="^"^'°" '*^^°'^"i' Monies, or any of theni,_or for paying the faid feveral Annuities, or any of them, or for any Tranf- fer of any Sum great or fmall, to be made in purfuance of this Aft ; upon Pain that any Offender or Perfon offending, by taking or demanding any fuch Fee, Reward or Gratuity, fliall forfeit the Sum of twenty Pounds to the Party aggrieved, with full Cofts of Suit; and that all Receipts and Iffues, and all other Things direeted by this AcSt to be performed in the Exchequer, fliall be done or per- formed by the Officer there, without demanding or receiving, direcStly or indiredly, any Fee, Re- ward or Gratuity for the fame; and in cafe the Officers of the Exchequer fliall take or demand any P^"'^^:'"* fuch Fee or Reward, or fliall mifapply or divert any of the Monies to be paid inro the Exchequer upon this Adt, or fhall pay or illiie out of the fame, otherwife than according to the true Intent cf this Ait, or fhall not keep fuch Books, Regifters or make Entries, and do and perform all Things which by this Act they are direded and required to do and perfoim; every fuch Offender fhall forfeit Vol. VIII.
