An A£l for raifing, by Annuities ajid a Lottery in Manner therein mentioned, the Sum of one million eight hundred thoufand Pounds, at three Lottery Aft of 16 Gets Pounds per Centum per Annum, for the Service of the Tear one thoufand ftven hundred and forty-three, ^' ' the faid Rates and Duties upon Spirituous Liquors were charged with, and made fubjeit and liable to, the Payment of the Annuities, after the Rate of three rounds per Centum per Annum, tranf- ferrableat the Bank o^ England, which by the faid A6t were granted, in refpe6l of the principal Sum of one million eight hundred thoufand Pounds, advanced upon the Credit of the faid Rates and Duties ; and the Surplus or Remainder of the Monies arifing by the faid Rates and Duties, after fatisfying, or referving Money fufficient to fatisfy, the faid feveral and refpeitive Annuities, and all Arrears thereof, was by the faid A61 ref.rved for the Difpofition of Parliament : And whereas by an A&. made in the feventeenth Year of his faid late Majefly 's Reign, intituled.
