Moreover, in the same year a great army of pagans came from Germany to the land of the Old Saxons, in Saxon called “Eald Seaxum.” Against them these same Saxons and the Frisians joined forces and 25fought bravely twice in that year. By divine mercy the Christians won both these battles.
