pass with spiritual joy and delight, obtaining fresh manifestations of thy love, with a more perfect knowledge of the truth that leads to Thee. Gracious God! we acknowledge that the all of good and truth we may possess, we derive entirely from Thee, for we have nothing of our own wherein to trust. O Lord, we beseech thee to increase and multiply upon us thy good and truth, that under thy blessing they may become as the barley loaves and fishes, enough to feed the multitude of our affections and thoughts, leaving fragments in abundance for the supply of future wants. Go before us, Great Shepherd of Israel, through our cares, toils, and duties of this day. Keep us in the paths of righteousness for thy name's sake, and to Thee for ever we will ascribe the power and glory.

MERCIFUL and ever to be adored Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ, Thou who art ever waiting to be gracious to thine erring children, we approach the throne of thy glory, desiring to offer up to Thee our evening sacrifice of prayer and praise. We adore and bless Thee for thy providential guidance through this day's duties, and for bringing us together in social worship, to present unto Thee the gratitude we owe.
