Japan, the number borne on Januaiy 19, 1921, was 76.600, made up of approximately 7,000 officers and 69,600 men, all available for manning. The figures for 1914-15 were :— Great Britain, 151,000; United States. 67,644 ; and Japan (number borne at end of 1914), 55,712.
