READY DOCTOR. 27 For BELCHINGS. TAKE 20 Drops that falls from a Glafs of Annife Oil in a Spoonful of Cold Water, in the Morn- ing fafting, for 7 Mornings. Or, take a handful of Crows Toes, commonly called Crowfoot, boil them o an English Quart of Water, cr Scots Choppin; then drop feven Drops of the ſaid Oil into a Glaſs of ſaid Juice, uſed for 7 Mornings. Probatum eft. N. B. Perhaps fome do not know what Crows Toes or Crowfoot is by this name. Therefore, I ha!l deſcribe the fame, and make it as plain as poſſible. Crows Toes, or Crowfoot, commonly grows upon Lee Ground, and Brae-faces : It bears a yellow flower, on which the Bees greatly feed, having thick blades, and full of Honey. Remember it is not the Peaſe coloured Knappards, nor yet the Peele-bloom Coloured Sitfafts; its colour is, as I have faid, yellow. It grows about 7 Inches long, and is feathered with reen fibres from the root to the flower ; and the lower is what you muſt uſe. Probatum Eft. For Broken BONES: ITAKE 1-2 Ounce Bees Wax, 1-2 Ounce Lintfeed Oil, 1-2 Ounce Tallow, 1-4 Ounce Roſin, and 1-2 Ounce Glew, compound altogether in a Cally fot upon the fire ; put it upon Leather, and ſo prly. But be fure firſt to clean and wath the place ith the Juice of Silverweed or Cou knottgraſs, therwiſe Olleun Brittanicum, that is, Britih Cil. Probatum eft.
