Then joining his hands and humbly bowing down, he says the Confession:
P. I confess, &c.
R. May Almighty God, &c.

Then the Priest, with his hands joined, gives the Absolution, saying —
P. May Almighty God, &c.
Signing himself with the sign of the Cross, he says —
P. ✠ May the Almighty, &c.
Then, bowing down, he proceeds:
V. Thou wilt turn again, O God, and quicken us.
R. And Thy neople shall rejoice in Thee.
V. Show us, O Lord Thy mercy.
R. And grant us Thy salvation.
V. O Lord, hear my prayer.
R. And let my cry come unto Thee.
V. The Lord be with you.
R. And with thy spirit.
Going up to the Altar, he says secretly —
Take away from us our iniquities, we beseech Thee, O Lord; that we may oe worthy to enter with pure minds into the Holy of Holies. Through Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
Bowing down over the Altar, he says —
We beseech Thee, O Lord, by the merits of Thy Saints, whose relics are here, and of all the Saints, that Thou wouldst vouchsafe to forgive me all my sins. Amen.
