In reference to the first part of the book of Genesis, I would observe that there exists different opinions among learned men. It is worth the serious consideration of ministers of the gospel to examine carefully Swedenborg's Arcana Cœlestia by the original text of Scripture, and if they come to the conclusion that it is the true meaning of the Word of God, let them come out boldly and tell the world, but if it should prove to be groundless, it will be equally the duty of the ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to do everything in their power to stop its progress, for I can assure them that the truths taught by Swedenborg are gradually finding their way among all denominations.
