FRIDAY MORNING.

O GRACIOUS Lord our Saviour, whose divine protection hath preserved us during the night season, help us to come before Thee this morning with a new song of gratitude; help us to show forth Thy salvation from day to day, to declare Thy glory and to spoak of all Thy marvellous acts. Impart unto us the graces of Thy Spirit, and teach us to address Thee in such language as shall best express our sense of Thy loving-kindness. Daily and hourly and momently Thou carest for us, and whether we receive temporal or spiritual gifts, all are bestowed by Thy free bounty.

We desire to bless and praise Thy holy name for the diversified charities which abound in this our country. O grant that every good that is done by them may be ascribed unto Thee, as the source whence all good originates; for all glory and honour belong to Thee alone. Amen.

Our Father, etc.
