O heavenly Father, help us to be obedient to the injunction of the Word of Thy truth in the gospel, "Be ye perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven ia perfect.
Thou hast bestowed upon us many precious and ennobling gifts, and hast enjoined only 2 fatthfal exercise of them, and a grateful acknowledgment of the source whence they are derived. O toach us rightly to understand the perfection after which we are to labour; that it lies not in the magnitude of the biessinga bestowed, but in faithfuincss to the measare of those blessings, according to the capacity with which Thou hast endowed us.
Merciful Lord our Savionr, with thankful hearts we acknowledge the bounties we have this day received. Keep ua safely through the night; whatsoever Thon seest good for us, may Thy willbe done. Amen,

WEDNESDAY MORNING.
O LORD, we adore Thee, we worship Thee as our God and Saviour. In descending upon earth, Thou didst bring life and immortality to light by Thy gospel; and in Thy Word didst show us the way of sulvation, and didst graciously promise to be with us; and as we feared Thee and were obedient to Thy commands would so prepare us for the reception of a purer light and more perfect knowledge, until we should be fitted to be instructed in more interior wisdom, and shown plainly of the Father.
Blessed be Thy holy name, O Lord, that in these last days Thy gracious promise has been redeemed; Thy Word of truth has been unfolded—its divine and spiritual sense has been explained, and Thou art now clearly seen; not only as our Saviour and Redeemer, but as the mighty God, the everlasting Father, having all power in heaven and on earth.
O God of heaven, make us sensible of the magnitude of there blessings. Quicken us by the Spirit of Thy truth, and help us so to treasure it in our inmost souls, that it may preserve us unto everlasting life. Let the portion we have read this day be blessed to our respective states; and O give us a sensible perception of the watchfulness of Thy providence. If left to ourselves, our enemies would prove too strong for us, and our own evil desires would too earnestly seek for gratification. But under Thine eye we are safe. Guide and guard us, O Thou great Jehovah, we beseech Thee. Keep us in integrity and uprightness, and bring us safely through all our difficulties. Amen.

OU. O Lord Jesus Christ, art onr Father. Infinite love dwells within Thee. Thou, 0 Lord, art the Son, bringing the Father forth to view; from this divine union proceeds the Holy Spirit, whose sanctifying influences tend to the regeneration of man. Give unto us then, we beseech Thee, that trne faith, which believes that THov ant, and that Thon art the rewarder of them that diligently seek Thee. Give unto
