He m. firstly, Anne, da. of Sir Giles ALISOTOH, of Horseheath, co. Cambridge, by Dorothy, da. of Thomas (Cecil), Eaul or Exeteh. She, who was bap. 13 April 1G07, at Horseheath, d. s.p.m. and was bur. 17 July 1G28, at Ware. He m. secondly, 24 June 1629, at St. Peter le Poor, London, Elizabeth, sister of Charles, 1st Viscount Cullen [1.], da. of Sir William Cokayne, of Rushton, co. Northampton, by Mary, da. of ltiuhard Mourns, sometime Master of the Ironmonger's Company, Loudon. He was bur. 30 March 1665, at Ware, aged 69. Admou. 23 June 1667, 29 May 1671 and 12 May 107-1. His widow, who was 4. at Cokayne House, Old Broad street, and bap. 2 April 1G09, at St. Peter Ie Poor afsd., was bur. 27 Feb. 1667/8, at Ware..' 1 ) Her will dat. 20 July 1G67, pr. M May 166S. H. 1GG5. 2. TnoMAS (Faxsltawe), Viscount Fansiiawe of Dno.MORE [I.], s. and h., by 2d wife ; bap. 17 June 1632, at Ware ; was K.B. at the coronation of Charles II, 23 April 1661. He m. firstly in 164S (at her age of 12), Catharine, da. and h. of Knighton Ferrers, of Bayfordbury, Herts, by Catharine, da. and eol.eir of Sir William Walter. She d. s.p. and was bur. 13 June, 1660, at Ware. He m. secondly before 1669, Sarah, widow of Sir John Whay, 2d Hart., of Glentworth (who d. 29 Oct. 1664), da. of Sir John Evelyn, of West Dean, Wilts. He, who sold the manor and estate of Ware, in 166S, for £26,000, was bur. at Ware 19 May 1674. Will pr. 4 June 1674. His widow m. (as his second wife) 1 1 Feb. 1674/5, at the Temple Church, London, George (Sausdeuson), 5th Viscount Castleton [I.], who d. 27 May 1714. She d. 1717. Will pr. Oct. 1717. III. 1674. J. Evelyn (Fansiiawe), Viscount Fansiiawe of Dro- Mor.E [I.], only s. and h. ; bap. 9 Aug. 16G9, at Glentworth, co. Lincoln. He d. num. 10 Oct. 16S7, aged 18 at Aleppo, in Turkey and was bur. 24 Feb. 1687/8, at Ware. Will dat. 31 March 1GS7, pr. 18 Feb. lGSt</90. IV. 1G87. Charles (Fansiiawe), Viscount Fansiiawe of Duo- more [I.], uncle and h. male. He d. num. at his house, Suffolk street, Westminster, 28 March and WiU bur. 1 April 1710, at Ware. Admou. 13 April 1710, 13 May 1714, 22 Nov. 1739 and July 1825. and immunities in every place within the realm of England, as fully, entirely, and in the same manner and form as other Barons of the same realm before this time have used and enjoyed,' gave to him amongst those rights the privilege enjoyed by other Barons of transmitting his title to his posterity." He was a very worthy, valiant, honest, good- natured gentleman, charitable and generous, and had excellent natural parts, yet choleric and rash which was only incommode to his own family ; he was a very pretty man, for he was but low, of a sanguine complexion."
