Perth. He was one of the Lorda of the Bedchamber ; F.R.S., &e. He m., 19 May 1S10, at St. Martins in the fields, Emily Frances, da. (whose issue became sole heir) of Hugh (Peucv), 2d Dukk of Northumberland, by his second wife, Frances Julia, da. of Peter Burrell. He d. 12 Oct. 1837, aged 55, in St. James street, Midx. Admon. Fob. 1842. His widow, who was b. 7 Jan. 1789, d. 21 June 1814. II. 1837. 2. George Augustus Frederick John (Murray), Baron Glenlyon, s. and h., 4. 20 Sep. 1814 ; sue. his father 12 Oct. 1837, in the peerage, and by the death of his cousin, 14 Sep. 184(5, became Duke ok Athole, &c. GLENTWORTH OF MALLOW. Barony [I.] 1. The Rt. Rev. William-Cecil Pery, Bishop of 1 1790 Limerick, was cr. 2 June 1790, Baron Gi.KNTwoitTn( b ) of Mallow [f-1 He was yr. br. of Edmond-Sexteu Pbuy, Speaker to the Irish House of Commons, 1771-85, afterwards (1785-1806) Viscount Pery [I.], both being sons of the Rev. Stackpole Peuv, of Stackpole Court, co. Clare, by Jane, da, of the Ven. William Twiog, Archdeacon of Limerick. He was b. 26 July 1721 ; was cr. D.D. of Dublin Univ., 1781 ; Bishop of Killaloe, 1781-1784 ; Bishop of Limerick, 1784-94, being cr. a temporal Peer in 1790 as aforesaid. He m. firstly, 2 April 1755, Jane, 1st da. of John Minchin Walcott, of Creagh. She d. 20 June 1792. He m. secondly, 4 Oct. 1792, Dorothea, widow of Gen. Crump, da. of the Ven. William Lewis, Archdeacon of Kilfenoni. The Bishop of Limerick d. 4 July 1794, in his 73d year. His widow, by whom he had no issue, d. Aug. 1802. (») This wag one of the " Coronation Peerages" of George IV., for a list of which see vol. ii, p. 351, note " d," sub " Conyngham." ( b ) He was descended from the family of Wray of Olentworth, co. Lincoln, his maternal grandmother (the wife of Archdeacon Twigge), being Diana, da. of (whose issue became heir to) Sir Drury Wray, 8th Bart, of Olentworth afsd. It does not, however, appear that any property at Olentworth, or elsewhere in England was inherited by the family of Pery, thro' this alliance.
