ISM, BARON NOEL OF RIDLINGTON, co. Rutland, VISCOUNT OAMPDEN OF CAMPDEN, co. Gloucester, and EAliL OF GAINSBOROUGH, co. Liucoln. He m. firstly, 1 July 1809, at Teignroouth, Devon, Elizabeth, only child of Thomas Welman, of Poundsford Park, Somerset, by his first wife, Elizabeth, da. of John LOOKB, of Howley, in that co. She d. s.p. 1 Dec. 1S11, aged 26, at Andover, and was bur. at Exton, but afterwards removed to Teston, co. Kent. He m. secondly, 13 May 1817, by spec, lie, at Portsmouth, Elizabeth, 2d da. of the Hon. Sir George Grey, 1st Bart., of Falloden (3d s. of Charles, 1st Earl Grey), by Mary, da. of Samuel WhitbreaD. She, who was b. 4 Nov. 1800, d. 20 Sep. ISIS, and was bur. at Teston afsd. He m. thirdly, 29 July 1S20, at St. Geo. Han. sq., Arabella. 2d da. of Sir James Hamlyn- Williajis, 2d Bart. [1795], of Clovelly Court, Devon, by Diana Anne, da. of Abraham Whitaker. She ((. 4 Oct. 1839, and was bur. at Teston. He m. fourthly, 25 July 1833, at Matlock, co. Derby, Frances, 2d da. of Robert (Jocklyn), 3d Earl ot Rodkn [I.], by his first wife, Maria Frances Catharine, da. of Thomas (Stapleton), Loud Lk Despencer. He d. 10 June 1866, in his 85th year, at 17 Prince's Gate, Midx. His widow, who was b. 20 Nov. 181 1, was sometime Lady of the Bedchamber (resigning Dec. 1872) and extra Lady of the Bedchamber ; V.A.* 2d class ; and d. 12 .May 1885, at 17 Hyde Park square, Midx. Han. sq., Adelaide Harriet Augusta, 1st da. of William George (Hay), Earl OF Erroll [S-], by Elizabeth Fitz-Clarenck, illegit. da. of U.R.1I. William Henry, Duke ok Clarence, afterwards King William IV. She, who was b. 29 Oct. 1821, and who was one of Queen Victoria's bridesmaids in 1840, d. 22 Oct. 1S67, at Exton. He d. (in his carriage in Tottenham Court Road, Midx.), 13 Aug. 1881, aged 62. IX. 1881. S. He M. firstly, 9 May 1876, at Spetchby, co. Worcester, Augusta Mary Catherine, 1st da. of Robert Berkeley, of Spetchley Park, by Mary Catherine, da. of Thomas (Browne), 3d Earl op Kenmaue [I.] She d. 5 Nov. 1877, aged 25 at Spetchley Park afsd. He m. secondly 2 Feb. 1880, at the Roman Catholic church at Mayne, CO. Westmeath, Mary Elizabeth, da. of James Arthur Deasb, of Turbotston, CO. Heath. [Arthur-Edward-Josepii Noel, styled Viscount Campden, 1st s. and h. ap.,by second wife ; 6. 30 June 1884, at the Hawthorns, Bournemouth, Hants.] Family Estates.— These, in 1883, consisted of 15,076 acres in Rutland, 3,170 in Gloucestershire, 159 in Leicestershire, 89 in Lincolnshire, 68 in Warwickshire and 6 in Northamptonsliire. Thus the male descent of the present Earls is (bastard) Hamilton.
