He m. secondly, 27 April 1700, in Alderman Craemfi's house, Mark lane, Loudou (mar. reg. at St. Martins in the fields) Oeorgiana Augusta, 1st da. of Augustus (Beukeley), 4 th Eakl of Beukeley, by Elizabeth, da. of Henry DuaX. He d. 15 April 17S0, aged 11, and was bur, at Newtown Forbes. His widow, who was b. IS Sep. 1749, and bap, 14 Oct.(') at Cranfoid, Midx., m. Jan. 1781, in Dublin, Rev. Samuel Little, D.D. She, who was 6. 9 April 1759, in Dublin, d. May 1827. He d, 9 June 1S37, aged 77, at his residence, Hotel Marboeuf, Champs Elysees, Paris, and was bur. at Newtown Forbes. [Geo roe- John Forbes, styled Viscount Forbes, 1st s. and h. ap., b. 3 May 1785, at Montpelier, in Languedoc, France ; eutered the Army, becoming finally (1825) Major General ; M.P. for co. Longford, 1S06-36 ; Lord Lieut, of co. Longford, 1831-30. He in., 4 Oct. 1832, at Rathconnell, co. Meath, Frances Mary, da. and h. of William Teiuutt, of Chilton Hall, co. Suffolk, LL.D., by Anne Catherine, da. of Augustus PaBKTHS. He d. 13 Nov. 1830, aged 51, at Noel House, Kensington, and was bur, in the old church of Clongish near Castle Forbes. His widow, who was extra Bedchamber-woman to the Queen, and V and A (3d class) wi. 15 Deo. 183S, at Chilton Hall, co. Suffolk, Thomas Nugent Vauguan, who d. 15 Sep. 1847. She (who retained her courtesy " style of Viscountess Forbes) d. 25 Dee. 1877, aged 06, at 107 Lausdowu Place, Brighton.] 1743, in which his br., afterwards well known as Admiral the Hon. John Forbes (who c(. April 1782) particularly distinguished himself. (») Augusta, Princess of Wales, and her son George (afterwards King George III.) were her sponsors. ( b ) The selection of " Coptic Doninyton " as part of his title of peerage seems some- what of a presumption, inasmuch as his only connection therewith (the said estate being the inheritance of the family of Hastings) was that his wife was one of the daughter! of the then owner whose sou and heir soon afterwards inherited the samo and transmitted it to his issue.
