He was a commissr. to the Scots, 29 Jon. 1018, was also (tho' a Peer) M.P. for Leicestershire, 1651. In Booth's rising, Aug. 1059, he declared for the King and was consequently imprisoned 1659-60, when he was received into lavour by Charles II.
