P.O., 1424 ; was on an embassy to Spain and to the King of the Romans, 1428, to Scotland, 1429, &c; served in the French war ; L. Treasurer 1432. He m. Elizabeth, da. of Sir Thomas Cha WORTH, of Wiverton, Notts, and only child and h. to her mother, his first wife, Nicola, da. and h, of Sir Gerard Braybroke. He d. 15 Nov. 1455, and was bur. in (») His eldest br. Sir Geoffrey Le Scrope, Knighted, before Paris, 1360, d. s.p. aud v.p., being slain at Piskre in Lithuania in 1362.
