On his retirement he was cr., 3 Feb. 1882, BARON BRAM- WELL OF HEVER, Kent.(^) F.R.S. 11 Jan. 1882. He was a Liberal till 1886, when he became a Unionist. He w., istly, 1830, in New YorkjC') Mary Jane, da. of Bruno Silva. Shed, s.p.m., 13 Apr. 1836. He;;;., 2ndly, in 1861, Martha Sinden, spinster. She d. 5 June 1879, at 17 Cadogan Place, aged 53.
