OF Ireland; on 22 Sep. 1761 he acted as Lord High Constable at the coronation of George III; from 25 Nov. 1761 to 22 Apr. 1763 he was Lord Privy Seal. Ambassador to France 4 Sep. 1762 to June 1763; Lord President of the Council 2 Nov. 1763 to July 1765; Chancellor of the Univ. of Dublin, 1765 till his death.
