He d. 20 Feb. 1898, after a severe operation, at 1 1 Duchess Str., Marylebone, and was l>ur. at Wrenbury, aged 52. Will pr. at over ;^i 13,000 gross and over ;£ 74,000 net. His widow was living 1913.
