Philippe had proved her age before the escheator in co. Devon. {Fine Roll, 20 Ric. II, m. 16). ("=) Papal mandate to the Archbishop of York, dated non. Feb. 9 Boniface IX [5 Feb. 1397/8], to dispense the said Henry and Philippe to remain in the marriage they had contracted, although they were related in the 3rd-4th degrees of affinity.
