Teija Tiilikainen
Teija Tiilikainen is Director of the Finnish Institute of International Affairs (FIIA). Before her nomination to this position in 2010 she was the Director of the Network of European Studies at the University of Helsinki (2003-2009). She has also served as Secretary of State at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland from 2007 to 2008. Teija Tiilikainen was a member of the Panel of Eminent Persons on European Security as a Common Project in 2015 led by Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger. She was also a member of the EU Commission’s group of personalities for CSDP-related research (2015-16) and a member of the European Convention in 2002-03. She has published extensively on issues related to European integration and security politics.
