ARTICLE XIII.

The inhabitants and merchants of the iſland, who are comprized in this preſent Capitulation, ſhall enjoy all the privileges of commerce, on the ſame conditions as are allowed to the ſubjects of his moſt Chriſtian Majeſty in all his dominions.

The inhabitants ſhall enjoy their religion, and their miniſters ſhall enjoy their cures.
