Therefore our Soveraine Lord , with advife and confent of his Regents Grace , the three Eftakcs , haill body of this prefent Parliament; Ordaines that all maner of fifcheres, that occupyes the Sea, uthers perfones quhat-fum-ever, that happenis to flay herring , or quhite-fifch upon the Coaft, or within the lies , or outwith the famin, within the Firthes , bring them to free Portes, there to bee faulde commounlie, to all our Soveraine Lordis lieges, and the reft to free-men , quhairby his Majefties Cuftomes be not defraud- ed, and his Hienefle lieges not fruftrat of the commoditie appoynted to them be God, under the pained confifcation , and tinfell of the vefchelles of them , that cummes in the aontrair heirof , and efcheitting of all their movabil guddes , .to our Soveraine Lords ufe.
