IT IS ftatute and ordained , that all inhibitiones and interdiction's to be raifed hereafter for quhatfumever caufe , with the executiones and indorfationes thereof, be within 40. dayes after the publication and execution of the faidis inhibitiones and interdictiones , produced firft to the Schirefte Clerk of the Schire , quhair die perfone interdited or inhibit dwellis , and makis his refidence. And git" the faid perfone have his landes and heritage , or the maift pairt thereof lyand in ane uther Schirefdome, nor quhair he dwellis : That the perfon , atquhaisinftancetheutherisinterditedorinhibite, produce the faid interdiction and inhibition, dewely execute and indorfat to the Clerke of the Schire, quhair the faidis lands lyes , within the famin 40. dayes. Quhilkis letters of interdiction and inhibition , v ith the execu- tion thereof, the faidis Schireffe Clerkes , fall infert in their regifters, rakand for everie letter , with the executions thereof , five fchillinges. Quhilk letter , with the execution thereof, they fall fignewith their fubfeription , and deliver the famin fwa fignet to the partie , within xxiv. houres , nixt after the receipt there- of.
