And for their iurdicr encouragment, Declares, ail Oyl, Dying-fluffs , Forraign Wool, Pct-Aihes or any other materials whatefoever uiefuil for Manufactories', that ihall he imported, tobelreeofCuilom, Excite and other publick Dues ; and that all Cioath, Stuffs, Stockings or any other Commodity to be made and exported by thtm, be tree of Cuftom and Excite, for nineteen years axtcr January, one thouiand fix hundred and fixty two years. And if any Stock Ihall be employed ior creeling or en- tertaining or any Manufactories of any kind,the fame is to be free of ail publick and private Taxes what foever. Likeas all Cuftomers, Collectors, Farmerers oi Cuftomsor Exife, and others, are hereby cbf- charged to demand any Cuftom, Excite, or any other Imposition whatlcever, for fucli Materials be- fore mentioned and belonging to Manufactories, -as they will be aniwerable. And in regard 01 the great prejudice to the Kingdom by Exportation 'of Wool, and Skins with Wool upon them, and of other Native Commodities and Materials fit tor Manuiaclunes ; Therefore His Majesty, with ad- vice foreiaid, Doth hereby Difcharge all and every perfon whatioever, Native or Stranger, to Expert out of this Kingdon any Wool, or Skins with Wool upon them, or Skins ot any kind, or any Ma- terials uiefuil for Manufactories, until they be made in work, or put to the bell avail for the good oi the Kingdom; Certifying luch as do in the contrair, they Ihall foreteit fuch Wool, Skins and ether Materials, or the juft value thereof, the one halt to His MajeHy, and the other halt to the Informer, who fhaii discover, apprehend, and profecute the fame beiore His Majesties Exchequer, befides that the perions and eftates of luch Contravecners, iliail be lyable to iuch punifhment and fine ior the lame, as His Majesties Exchequer ihall appoint. And aifo His Majesty , with advice foreiaid, Discharges all Regraters and ForeLallers ot Marcats of Wool, and that no Merchant nor perion whatioever, buy and keep up Wool to a dearth^ but that they bring the fame to be fold in open Mercats, tinder the pains contained in the Acls ot Parliament made againfl Regraters and Fciftahers. And in regard there is much deceit by wrapping up of Wool in the Fleece, by putting {tones, Sand, and other iniuifficient fluff in the fame, It is hereby Declared, that all iuch Wool Ihall be confiicat, the one half to His Majesties ufe, and the other half to the uie of thofe who fhall apprehend, dis- cover, and purine the iame. Jet for Planting and inclofing of Ground. ^Ur Soveraign L©rd, confideringhow man) laudable Laws have been made, by His Majesties Ro) all Progenitors, tor Parking and Inclofing of Ground, and Planting of Wood, andtorprefer- Viiig 01 the fame : and finding the great prejudice have followed upon the not dew obiervanceoffo notable and necefiar Laws. And how expedient, fit and neceffar it will be, for the good of this His Majesties ancient Kingdom, eipecialiy for Shipping and Building, that Timber be Planted ;and how advantageous it is for the increafe of Corns and Cattel , and the lowing of Lint and Hemp for Manufactories, that Farking and Inclofings be made. Doth therefore with content and advice of His filiates of Parliament, Revive the ninth Acl oi the fourth Parliament of King James the nrfl, of Blefied memory, Entituled, An Act for Planting of Woods, Forrests and Orchards, and all other Acts made for that effect, by HisMajeftyoc any other His Royal Predeceffors; and Ordains the lame to be put to execution in time comming, conform to the Tenor thereof, in all points ; with this addition.
