Of these the first four and the last two lines reappear in W, the last seven commandments only being different. The 1 8 lines peculiar to Y are replaced by 34 in W. Since there is no apparent reason for the change this looks like the filling in of an accidental lacuna. Let us now consider the relation of the Coventry play to the preceding. When we examine the text closely we find that it has points of agreement both with Y and W.
