LINE OF JANE McCLURE.

D. Jane McClure, the second daughter and fourth child of James and Agnes McClure, was born in Ireland; came with her parents to Augusta County 1738, and married 1757, (second wife) Capt. Archibald Alexander, born Cunningham Manor, Ireland, February 4, 1708. They lived near Timber Ridge, Rockbridge Co., in which church he was a ruling elder.
