send him hither. 4And going their waies, they found the colt tied before the gate without in the meeting of two waies: and they loose him. 5And certaine of them that stood there, said to them: What doe you loosing the colt? 6Who said to them as Jesus had commanded them; and they did let him goe with them. 7And they brought the colt to Jesus; and they lay their garments upon him, and he sate upon him. 8And [1] many spred their garments in the way: and others did cut boughes from the trees, and strawed them in the way. 9And they that went before and they that folowed, cried saying, Ps. 117, 26.Hosanna, blessed is he that commeth in the name of our Lord. 10Blessed is the Kingdom of our father David that commeth, Hosanna in the highest. 11And he entred Hierusalem into the temple; and having vewed al things round about, when now the evening houre was come, he went forth into Bethania with the Twelve.

MUNDAY.12And the next day when they departed from Bethania, he was an hungred. 13And Mt. 21, 19.* when he had seen a farre off a figtree having leaves, he came if happily he could find any thing on it. And when he was come to it, he found nothing but leaves. For it was not the time for figges. 14And answering he said to it: Now no man eate fruit of thee any more for ever. And his Disciples heard it. 15And they come to Hierusalem.

  1. Al these voluntary duties were grateful to our Saviour: and so be the like done to him in the B. Sacrament.
  2. Faith of God is to beleeve that he is able, and that he wil doe it, if it be expedient, and no impediment on our part.
  3. God never forgiveth sinnes to him that pardoneth not his enemies from his hart whereby it is evident that more is required then only faith.
