do you thinke within your selves, O ye of litle faith, for that you have not bread? 9Do you not yet understand, neither do you remember Mt. 14, 17. 15, 34.* the five loaves among five thousand men, and how many baskets you tooke up? 10neither the * seaven loaves, among foure thousand men, and how many maundes you tooke up? 11Why do you not understand that I said not of bread to you: Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, & Sadducees? 12Then they understood that he said not they should beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

And ″ what soever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shal be bound also in the Heavens: and what soever thou shalt loose in earth, it shall be loosed also in the Heavens. ✠

20Then he commanded his Disciples that they should tel no body that he was Jesus Christ.

21From that time Jesus began to shew his Disciples, that he must goe to Hierusalem, & suffer many things of the Ancients & Scribes & Cheefe-Priests, and be killed, and the third day rise againe. 22And Peter taking him, began to rebuke him, saying: Lord, be it farre from thee, this shal not be unto thee. 23Who turning said to Peter: Goe after me [2] Satan, thou art a scandal unto me: because thou favourest not the things that are of God, but the things that are of men. The Ghospel for a Martyr that is a Bishop; And upon S. Laurence Eve.24Then Jesus said to his Disciples: If any man wil come after me, let him denie himself, and take up his crosse, and follow me. 25For he that will save his life, shal lose it, and he that shal lose his life for me, shal find it. 26For what doth it profit a man, if he gaine the whole world, and sustaine the damage of his soule? Or what permutation shal a man give for his soule? 27For the Sonne of man shal come in the glorie of his Father with his Angels: and then wil he render to every man according to his ″ workes. ✠
