finite image or idea emanating from this Mind”;[1] “creation consists of the unfolding of spiritual ideas and their identities, which are embraced in the infinite Mind and forever reflected * * * the highest ideas are the sons and daughters of God”;[2] “From the infinite elements of the one Mind emanate all forms, colors and qualities, and these are mental both primarily and secondarily”;[3] “Omnipotent and infinite Mind made all and includes all”;[4] “As a drop of water is one with the ocean, a ray of light one with the sun, even so God and man. Father and son, are one in being”;[5] “Like a ray of light which comes from the sun, man, the outcome of God, reflects God”;[6] In these declarations of doctrines there are many points of interest, some of which cannot be taken up now but will be later. At present consider that they contain these three important propositions:

1. That creation is an emanation from the creator.

2. That the relation of creation to the creator is illustrated by the relation of a ray of light to the sun.

3. That, while creation emanates from the creator, it at the same time abides in him.
